about

Amino Titu started out as an experiment in how Jo's songs are influenced by the environments of their creation. The songs #1, #5 and #6 were written during a residency in Stöðvarfjörður/Iceland whilst #2, #3, and #4 were written in Berlin/Germany in the months that followed.

During the period of creation (2020/2021), many more effects than the environment began to influence the songs. Jo followed a sound path, which had started in the desired seclusion of Iceland and has continued in the unexpected introspective situation in Berlin. Consequently, the differences between the two locations began to blur and a new place emerged: Amino Titu!
